Festival del Viento: Mexican kiteboarding dreams

The Festival del Viento 2012 is going to return to Bucerias, Nayarit, in Mexico, between 18th-20th May. The best kiteboarders of the Mexican states, such as Colima, Baja, Merida, Sinaloa and Jalisco.

The third edition of Festival del Viento will display a classic Freestyle competition, but the organization is also planning a Downwind Slalom contest and a long distance race for those seeking kiteboarding marathons.

Bruno Sroka: he wants the English Channel kite record

Bruno Sroka will try to kitesurf across English Channel and beat the world record of 5 hours and 20 minutes. The French kiteboarder wants to celebrate the inclusion of the sport in the 2016 Olympic Games with a serious challenge.
